Week 33/2024
Seems that I can finally tell it: I'M MAKING A COMIC WITH KELLY SUE DECONNICK AND IS FRIGGING FABULOUS!
I cannot tell much more but I can say that this is my favorite comic Kelly Sue has ever written and it's the best comic I've ever drawn. And I'm not speaking lightly.
With FML I have the feeling that it's the kind of story I would write if I were able to write as good as Kelly Sue can, is a comic of nervous laughter, slapstick, drama, horror, tragedy and everything that I like.
FML is not a comedy, don't be fooled by the jokes, is not a drama either, but speaks about very serious matters, it's not a thriller, but has plenty of mystery… it IS like live itself, it DOES open your guts and makes you look inside.
This work doesn't fit inside an specific genre, doesn't even have a tone you have ever seen before, maybe has a flair of Twin peaks?, but more in the slice of life sense, or real life… well… it doesn't look that much to Twin Peaks… What can I say, I only know that everybody that has had the chance to read it has LOVED it.
It will hit the stores on November the 6th by Dark Horse and it'd HELP A LOT if you went to your local comic book store and ask for it so they can preorder properly.
